Postdoctoral Research Associate
Grade 7 : ￡29,541 – ￡36,298 p.a.

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Professor Philip Mountford on a research project funded in part by the recently formedEPSRC UK Catalysis Hub for a period of 2 years. The main part of the project involves the synthesis and development of new catalysts for the ring-opening polymerisation of cyclic esters, and will involve collaboration with Professor. Charlotte Williams, Imperial College London, Dr Matthew Jones and Professor Matthew Davidson, University of Bath and Professor Polly Arnold, University of Edinburgh.

You should either already have a PhD and/or substantial postdoctoral experience in the areas of organometallic synthesis and polymerisation catalysis, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up the post. 
The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road OX1 3TA.

The post is available from January 2014.
